Donald Trump doesn’t much like lawyers–unless they are those who can manipulate the system to keep him out of jail or prevent him from paying legal penalties that juries have awarded to those he has harmed.
I've heard suggestions that bar association challenges be made to disbar attorneys who are wilfully violating the law. If I recall, several were disbarred after the 2020 election denial actions. Not sure how effective this would be, and it would certainly test the American Bar Association and state bar associations' will to stand up for the rule of law. Thoughts on that?
Trump rescinded something today (I forget what) but I wondered why he did that and wondered if it was that the lawyers were afraid of being disbarred.
